Overview
Vendor Purchase Order
A User can create and generate a Purchase Order that can be printed and provided to the Vendors. This Purchase Order can be converted to an Accounts Payable Vouchers when the items are received saving the time of reentering that information.

Feature Set and Functionality
- Auto numbering of Purchase Orders with ability to override.
- Customize tab stops and rename certain fields.
- The user can add and maintain Vendors from the Purchase Order input screen.
- There are three different input forms available with the ability to set a default form. This allows for customization to fit with the individual needs of each company. If a company is purchasing inventory a different form is used than if purchasing non-inventory items. Each of the three forms can be easily chosen on any transaction. This applies to both Purchase Order and Vouchers.
- Inventory items can be added or maintained from the Purchase Order entry screen.
- Items can be purchased in different units of measure than stocking units. For example, you can purchase a case of a particular item but stock it as an "each" quantity. The system will automatically convert the case into "each" when the inventory quantity is updated. Multiple conversion quantities can be set up for each item including weight and volume.
- Easily view stock detail, cost, and warehouse stock information with the ability to drill down to the actual invoice detail.
- Easily view vendor and transaction history.
- Purchases can be charged directly to a job.
- Sales tax management on purchases.
- Purchase Orders can be easily duplicated to save data entry time.
- Excellent search and filtering options.
- Multi Currency enabled.
- Quickly convert a Purchase Order to a Voucher.
- All inventory quantities are updated when posting the Voucher for payment.
- Serial Number tracking available.
- Setup option for establishing number of decimal places required, up to six. This is a very powerful option that applies to quantities and prices.
