Service Order
The Sales Order screen has the ability to display the line items, header
line and order total lines in 5 different formats. By activating the Service
Lines the user has the ability to select parts form inventory, enter labor
codes from inventory or add miscellaneous charges and free form comments
to the order. If the "Man Hours Required" toggle is activated in the System
Manager each line item is enabled with a MRH field to enter the labor
hours required to perform that function. The MRH Rate is determined from
that field in the Line Item Header Line per order. When completed you
can print a Service Order, Service Invoice or Commercial Invoice. more

Job Cost
The Job Cost function is used to store all the detailed information about
your jobs including address, phone, proposal information and other key
information. It is also used to monitor profitability of the job. You
can be as detailed as you feel necessary since most of the fields are
not required to be filled in. Jobs are normally used by service oriented
companies to track contract work done for other companies. You will notice
at the top of this form three tabs, which help group the job information
better. It is like having three forms connected together for each job.
Labor cost can be automatically invoiced to the customer from the Job
Screen and passed to the Payroll Module. more
